Dalyan, Turkey is a venue I revisit again and again. The delicious food, warm weather and awesome nature keeps pulling me back for more. The venue is calming and simple, with a large pool and epic mountain in the back yard! Although it isn’t fancy, it is very comfortable and Jo and Tom (our hosts) go to great lengths to cater for everyone’s needs. The beach is a short drive away, on which you can visit the inspiring turtle sanctuary where you can see turtles in rehabilitation.

Life on The Retreat
There are two boat excursions that are truly magical. On the first, we hire an old sailing boat to explore the untouched twelve islands of the local area. In between swimming in the sea and sunbathing, a delicious, nutritious lunch is prepared and served on the boat. The second trip, we head to the local lake, where we watch the sunset over a breath-taking part of the world, listed as a world heritage site. We spend most of our time jumping off the top of the boat into the warm, clean water, but we also have a freshly prepared dinner under the stars.
This yoga retreat is designed to educate you on the biomechanics and anatomy relevant your practice. We will workshop backbends, handstands and arm balances. To recharge I will guide meditations, an evening Yoga Nidra, and a partner massage workshop.
Although we will be working hard on the mat, we will also spend time going out for dinner and having drinks in the local town. There is a karaoke bar, where our host (Tom, age70) will always grab the mic and dazzle us with his incredible voice. I’ll sit the karaoke out :D
